abcdeSIM
A medical simulation game where players have 15 minutes to stabilize a virtual patient. The cause —as is often the case in real life— is unknown. By following the ABCDE method, players are to find out what a patient their issue is in this true-to-life game that includes a working human blood circulation simulation. The execution of this serious game is complex, and it has been referred to as the Flight Simulator of medical simulations. It has become the first serious game in The Netherlands to be accredited with 6 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit, proving its value in medical education.
